The SUMO is a range of multi-stage submersible pumps, carefully
engineered to give you the best in performance, reliability, durability
and ease of maintenance.
PUMP INSTALLATION AND APPLICATIONS
These pumps are suitable for pumping clean water or fluids with
a sand content of no more than 50g/m3. Their high performance and
dependability make them suitable for use in domestic, civil and
industrial fields: for the automatic supply of water; for emptying
tanks, sump pits, swimming pools and aquariums; for irrigating gardens;
for washing and pressure boosting systems; and for fire-fighting
purposes etc.
SUMO pumps can be installed in wells with a diameter not
less than 6 inches (152mm). The pump can be installed either vertically
or horizontally; when installed vertically, it is advisable to secure
the pump by using a stainless steel or nylon cable connected to
the special eyebolt provided on the discharge head.

- DOUBLE SEAL SYSTEM silicon carbide/silicon carbide (graphite
and alumina up to 0.75kw) mechanical
seal on the pump side, and lip seal on the motor side (with barrier
oil chamber to lubricate and cool the sealing surfaces in the
absence of water).
- AISI 304 stainless steel BOLTS
- AISI 304 stainless steel FILTER
- Removable and re-windable enclosed induction MOTOR, suitable
for continuous duty. A thermal cutout device (motor protector)
is incorporated in single phase motors. Motor cooling is assured
by the liquid in which the pump is immersed.
- INSULATION class F (provides the motor with a considerable
overload tolerance and substantially increases the service life
of the motor itself).
- PROTECTION IP 68.
- 20 meters "HO7 RN-F" submersible SUPPLY CABLE
with removable connector.
- CONSTRUCTION AND SAFETY STANDARDS in compliance with
EN 60 335-1 (IEC 335-1, CEI 61-150) EN 60034-1 (IEC 34-1, CEI
2-3).
- CONTROL BOX with capacitor and schuko plug in single
phase motors.Optional extra for three phase motors.
- EXTERNAL FLOAT SWITCH optional extra for single phase
motors.
