3CR/4CR Multistage Centrifugal Pump Range General Product Description
PERFORMANCE RANGE
Flow rate up to 120 L/min (7.2 m³/h)
Dynamic head up to 50 m
COMPACT, EXTREMELY QUIET, HIGH OUTPUT, LOW CONSUMPTION PUMPS
WITH STAINLESS STEEL BODY, FOR DOMESTIC& COMMERCIAL USE.
OPERATING LIMITS
Suction lift up to 7 m
Fluid temperature up to + 40°C
Maximum ambient temperature + 40°C
PUMP INSTALLATION AND APPLICATIONS
These pumps are suitable for handling clean water and fluids which
are not chemically aggressive to the pump components.
THEY ARE EXTREMELY RELIABLE, QUIET AND VIRTUALLY MAINTENANCE-FREE,
FINDING MANY USES IN DOMESTIC AND LIGHT COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS.
THEIR PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS AND LOW NOISE MEANS THAT CR PUMPS
ARE PARTICULARLY SUITED TO WATER SUPPLY APPLICATIONS (INCLUDING
BOOSTING DOMESTIC MAINS PRESSURE*) AND FOR LARGE OR MULTIPLE SHOWER
APPLICATIONS.
These pumps should be installed in a covered area, protected against
the weather.
PERFORMANCE
The working principle of multistage pumps gives high pressures
without excess capacity while retaining the clear advantages of
centrifugal pumps. Pumps in the 3/4CR range have the following features.
- stable characteristic curves (very high ratio between maximum
and minimum head values);
- very low noise levels at any duty point;
- low power consumption for the head values achieved;
- good suction capacities.
Curve tolerance according to ISO 2548.
STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS
- AISI 304 Stainless steel PUMP BODY with UNI ISO 228/1
gas threaded suction and delivery ports.
- AISI 304 stainless steel back plate serving also as mechanical
seal housing.
- IMPELLERS, centrifugal radial flow type, made of General
Electric Noryl technopolymer (approved for drinking water).
- AISI 416 stainless steel MOTOR SHAFT.
- Ceramic and graphite MECHANICAL SEAL
- MOTOR: the pumps are coupled directly to an asynchronous,
high efficiency PEDROLLO induction motor of suitable size, which
is quiet running, closed and externally ventilated, suitable for
continuous duty. INSULATION class B.
A thermal cut-out device (motor protector) is incorporated
in single phase motors.
Three phase motors require an adequate external motor protector
connected according to current standards.
- PROTECTION IP 44.
- CONSTRUCTION AND SAFETY STANDARDS in compliance with
EN 60 335 -1, (IEC 335-1, CEI 61-150), EN 60034-1, (IEC 34-1,
CEI 2-3)
- REGISTERED MODEL
*Installations must comply to Water Bye-laws in the UK.
