PUMP INSTALLATION AND APPLICATIONS

These pumps are suitable for handling clean water and fluids which are not chemically aggressive to the pump components.

THIS SERIES OF PUMPS HAS BEEN SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR INDUSTRIAL OR AGRICULTURAL USE, WHERE THEIR CHARACTERISTIC STRENGTH AND RELIABILITY CAN BE FULLY UTILIZED.

Built according to EN 733 - DIN 24255, these pumps have standard overall dimensions, sizes and positioning of the delivery and suction ports, support base and other dimensions. This means that the pumps chosen will be adequately designed to handle heavy-duty operation and can be interchanged with other standardized pumps.

These pumps should be installed in a covered area, protected against the weather.

PERFORMANCE

A wide range of pumps make up the standardized CP series, enabling the most suitable model for a particular application to be chosen. This means high performance, coupled with reduced running costs, particularly important for powerful machines, often intended for continuous use. When developing individual models care was taken to aim at standardizing the following features within the series.

• Long flat performance curves;
• flat absorption curves at high delivery rates, preventing motor overloading even during prolonged use;
• good suction capacities both at low and high delivery rates

Curve tolerance according to ISO 2548.

STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Cast iron PUMP BODY built according to EN 733 - DIN 24255 and UNI 7467 - NF E-44-111 with UNI ISO 228/1 gas threaded suction and delivery ports
• BRASS IMPELLER, centrifugal radial flow type.
• AISI 316 stainless steel MOTOR SHAFT.
• Ceramic and graphite MECHANICAL SEAL
• MOTOR: pumps are coupled directly to an asynchronous, high efficiency PEDROLLO induction motor of suitable size, which is quiet running, closed and externally ventilated, suitable for continuous duty. INSULATION class F.
  A thermal cut-out device (motor protector) is incorporated in single phase motors up to 1.5 kW.
  

Other single phase motors and all three phase motors require an adequate external motor protector, connected according to current standards
